It was the intention to write much more extensively about each topic, but unforeseen tasks appeared and therefore the post has been kept relatively short.
Monday is contact, general admin. and writing day, when more will be written, messages, emails answered, etc.
Here is a summary of the changes and measures that come into force from 1 October 2024.
All points are described in more detail under “Terms” and “About Us”.
Tattoo, the studio:
After much deliberation, Maj decided to close the studio in Holmbladsgade, so Iver now tattoos in the cozy Larma Tattoo studio in Nansensgade. There he shares a workstation with a few friends and colleagues. As before, Iver is only in the studio by appointment. The usual conditions apply to visits.
The studio is located approx. 10 minutes’ walk from Nørreport Station, and if you are driving, in addition to street parking, there is the large Q-park parking garage under Israel’s square.
Tattoo, booking:
In future, Iver will book for 6 months at a time, and only via his private Messenger, TAS e-mail, or on site when you are in the studio. All agreements are confirmed by SMS. First, the period October to March is booked, and then April to September is booked. The booking of each half-year starts one month before, i.e. The last month of each half year, March and September.
A reservation fee is paid when ordering at the hourly price of half the number of hours ordered, but at least for 1 hour.
Example:
You book 4 hours. The price per hour is DKK 1350,- so the price for the 4 hours is DKK 5400,- total.
Hence DKK 2700,- is paid upon booking, and another DKK 2700,- is paid when arriving for the booked appointment.
In the case of a fixed price for a single-session tattoo, half of the price is paid when booking.
Reservation fees is non-refundable.
Tattoo, cancellation:
If the customer cancels less than 24 hours before the appointment, 1 hour’s price is used for the reservation fee and this must be paid again, when re-booking.
If Ivers cancels within 24 hours before the appointment, 1 hour is given free of charge for the execution.
Tattoo, Prices:
As everything else has gone up, Iver’s prices will now have to too. It is his first price increase in 33 years, so he hopes it will be received with understanding.
If you are already a customer, you keep the price you already pay, provided you pay pr. banktransfer, mobilepay, if you get tattooed for at least 1 session of 3 hours per half a year.
This does not apply when paying cash or PayPal.
The price is per 1 October DKK 1,350 per hour on weekdays. For appointments at weekends or on weekdays after 4:00 p.m., a supplement of DKK 650 per hour, unless otherwise agreed.
Tattoo Styles:
Iver works primarily in black/shadows. White highlights are only made if it makes sense in relation to the design and skin.
Tattoos with colors are also done, although they get their own procedure due to legislation. This, as well as specific styles, will be described in more detail later.
Tattoo, Courses:
There are currently No courses planned specifically for tattoo artists. If it comes up again, it will be, as before, only for registered tattoo artists and apprentices.
However, there are other courses on the drawing board that some tattoo artists might find interesting.
Visual arts, Exhibition:
Both Amanda and Iver are planning exhibitions in the future. In addition to visual arts, this also covers Amanda’s books and other good things from both of us.
We will make a lot of noise when something is brewing.
Visual arts, Courses:
There are various courses on the drawing board, both online and in-person. As with exhibitions, we will make a lot of noise when there is something concrete.
Twilight Art Studio:
We started back in 2009 as a tattoo studio, and have since developed into something completely different. More about it on the website under “About us”.
Contact about tattooing takes place as previously described, all other inquiries, as well as booking an interview and ordering visual art, are sent to TAS e-mail.
We have a newsletter in the works, based on previous experience we think it will be good!
